Playback and controls

Sample documentation: supported players and control locations must be verified against the current release.

Choose a playback source

Start playback in your usual music player, then inspect the information in MuseTune. Keep one source active while investigating an issue.

Check track information

Compare the title and artist with the source player. Some content does not provide complete metadata, so a missing field alone does not necessarily indicate a problem.

Verify the controls

Try the controls available in your version one at a time. Check play and pause before moving on to track changes.

Multiple players

When a browser and music app are both open, identify which one is producing sound. Close unnecessary playback tabs and check again.

Report a control issue

Record the player name, version, steps, and actual result. Mention whether the issue happens every time or only occasionally.
